Erdogan Calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to Reach 'Prompt Peace Agreement'

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan during his speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. Anadolu reports on this statement.

He discussed the situation prevailing in the South Caucasus and urged the need for a 'prompt peace agreement' between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“Although the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has overshadowed our common efforts in recent days, I believe that relations between the two countries will soon normalize, leading to peace in the region,” said the Turkish president.
