CSTO Mission Develops Proposals for Easing Tensions at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border
The CSTO mission group has developed proposals for easing tensions at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This was announced yesterday by the press service of the CSTO Joint Staff to TASS.
“Today, a consultation took place at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia regarding the results of the work of the CSTO mission advance group in Armenia. Lieutenant General Anatoly Sidorov, who heads the advance group, informed Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan about the analysis results of the situation in certain areas of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the main conclusions, and corresponding measures proposed,” the press service stated.
“There was an open and constructive exchange of ideas. The developed proposals are aimed at easing the tensions,” the message noted. Following the meeting at the Ministry of Defense, the CSTO mission group departed for Moscow.
