Queen Guitarist Brian May Posts About Armenia

Legendary guitarist of the Queen band and astrophysicist Brian May has made a post on Instagram regarding Armenia, drawing attention to Azerbaijan's aggression against the country.

“I am breaking silence here, as it seems a new tragedy is unfolding, and there is a danger that, as always in such times, the media will not report it truthfully,” he wrote, emphasizing: “Armenia is a small country that lacks oil or gas reserves; it is an island of Christianity and democracy surrounded by authoritarian states.”

May stated that Armenia has been left alone against dictatorial regimes and needs complete support from the West.

He also shared a post by Serj Tankian, the lead vocalist of the band System Of a Down, concerning Azerbaijan's attack on Armenia. “The world needs to know what is happening. Please share this to counter the false information actively spread by Azerbaijan and its allies trying to portray Armenia as the aggressor, just as Russia attempted to depict innocent Ukrainians as the aggressor. In a world dominated by lies, we all must stand for truth and justice,” May wrote.
