Putin Discusses Armenia-Russia Ties

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed participants of the 9th Armenia-Russia Interregional Conference, noting that Russia and Armenia have accumulated significant experience in cooperation across various sectors. The President's message was published on the Kremlin's website.

“This year, our countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance. It is important that during this time, a great amount of constructive cooperation experience has been gathered between Russia and Armenia across various fields, and bilateral relations have reached a high level of partnership,” the statement read.

The 9th Armenia-Russia Interregional Conference is being held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The plenary session is attended by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk.
