Kremlin Comments on Pelosi's Visit to Armenia

Commenting on the visit of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Yerevan, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that Russia welcomes practical steps towards the settlement of the situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"Everything that is not just words but actions, and is not loud, not populist, but actually silent and practical, can contribute to the normalization of relations and the stabilization of the situation at the border. Can such loud actions and statements contribute to that normalization? Let's see; over time, everything will become clear," Peskov told reporters while responding to questions on how the Kremlin assesses Pelosi's visit to Armenia and whether this visit could serve in resolving the conflict with Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that the delegation led by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived in Armenia on September 17, where it held a number of important meetings and discussions.
