Iran Will Turn the Dream of Changing Borders in the Region into a Nightmare: Iranian Official
Iran will turn the dream of changing borders in the region into a nightmare. This was reported by parstoday.com, citing the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Vahid Jalalzadeh.
Expressing concern about the recent events at the borders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, he stated that "the Islamic Parliament's National Security Commission is examining the latest developments." Vahid Jalalzadeh also declared that Tehran has been with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, and other post-Soviet republics since their first days of independence and has provided various assistance to the governments of these countries, adding, "Iran will prevent changes in the borders of the region."
Iranian officials have previously warned about the terrible consequences of changing borders in the region and the severe response from Iran, stating that this is Tehran's red line.
