How a Soldier Helped Command Almost Annihilate an Azerbaijani Unit

On September 13, 2022, around 00:10, with the support of intense tank and artillery fire, the enemy organized an assault on one of the combat positions in the defense zone of Military Unit N, attacking from two directions with more than 50 special forces.

After several hours of resistance, assessing the uneven conditions of the battle, the senior sergeant of the combat position, conscript soldier Esai Yanesy Arziyev, made the decision to execute a breakthrough and reposition with the personnel of the position near the neighboring site to conduct more effective fire and push back the enemy.

However, after executing the breakthrough, he discovered that the specified combat position was already under enemy control and heavily manned. Senior Sergeant Arziyev wisely implemented evasion and transmitted the coordinates of the Azerbaijani forces' concentrations to the higher command.

Shortly thereafter, artillery units delivered a targeted strike against the enemy, resulting in the near-total destruction of the Azerbaijani unit. During this operation, Senior Sergeant Esai Yanesy Arziyev displayed exceptional performance and continues to serve his homeland with honor, as does the artillery unit of his military formation.
