Gor Gevorgyan Killed in the Direction of Jermuk: He Has Two Children
Gor Gevorgyan, a 34-year-old contract serviceman, was killed in the direction of Jermuk due to Azerbaijani aggression. In an interview with NEWS.am, the spokesman for the mayor of Hrazdan, Mays Poghosyan, stated that Gor was about to celebrate his 35th birthday on October 8th.
Gor was married and had two children. His brother is also a contract serviceman, and their father is a member of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union.
It is worth noting that on September 13, starting from 00:05, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units began to intensively open fire on Armenian positions along the entire length of the border using artillery and large-caliber firearms, including UAVs. The adversary struck both military and civilian targets.
According to the Ministry of Defense, as of September 14, at 20:00, firing had virtually ceased in all directions, and no significant incidents were recorded. As of 09:00 on September 16, there had been no changes in the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
As of September 16, the Armenian side had confirmed 135 fatalities. On September 14, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a Q&A session with the National Assembly that, at that time, Azerbaijan had occupied 10 square kilometers of territory from Armenia.
