A New Map of Areas Occupied from Armenia Published in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijani affairs expert Garnik Davtyan has shared images on his Facebook page, stating: “The Caspian Military Research Institute of Azerbaijan has published a map showing the new areas occupied by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in recent days and the degree of visibility from these territories.
The second yellow line indicates the segment within the sovereign territory of Armenia that has emerged recently. The purple line indicates the distance deep within Armenia that has granted the Azerbaijani Armed Forces new opportunities for observation from newly occupied positions.
The analysis notes that at least 50% of the occupied new territories fall within a zone of physical control, meaning Azerbaijani soldiers are stationed in these areas. The remaining territories are only under visual observation.
Lastly, the conclusion presents a new threat to Armenia: “If weapons and military equipment are transported from Yerevan or any other city to Syunik or Sevan in the future, Azerbaijan will send a warning to the Armenian leadership. If no action is taken, this will be perceived as a threat and will be neutralized.”
Note: This serves as a basis for a new war declaration.”
