A Day of Mourning Declared in Kyrgyzstan

A day of mourning has been declared in Kyrgyzstan. According to Russian media reports, state flags will be lowered throughout the country. Cultural institutions and television and radio companies have been advised to cancel entertainment programs.

As per the latest data, 59 Kyrgyz have died as a result of the conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Meanwhile, 28 civilians have lost their lives in Tajikistan. Children have also died on both sides.

The two countries are unable to reach an agreement on 70 disputed sections of their border.
