We Have Nothing to Say About Armenia's Contacts with Other Entities: Pelosi on CSTO
Regarding the CSTO, we have nothing to say. We understand that Armenia is part of that organization with Russia. However, what we want to emphasize is that we are concerned about Armenia's security issues and wish to support Armenia as much as possible, stated Frank Pallone, co-chair of the Congressional Armenian Caucus, at a press conference held in Yerevan.
“In the democratic world, Armenia's democracy is of immense importance. And as Mr. Pallone noted, we have nothing to say about Armenia's contacts with other entities. However, Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity are crucial issues for us, and we want to have effective support in that direction. Of course, the decision lies with Armenia. We can talk about our willingness,” stated Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, in response to a question regarding the CSTO.
