VIDEO: Typhoon 'Nanmadol' Hits Japan's Shores
The powerful ‘Nanmadol’ typhoon has struck Japan’s shores, according to NHK. The storm's core is registering wind speeds of up to 45 meters per second, with gusts reaching up to 65.
According to Japanese meteorologists, the 'Nanmadol' typhoon has hit the southern Kagoshima prefecture. The Miyazaki prefecture has issued an emergency warning for heavy rainfall, while Kagoshima has also issued alerts for strong winds, high waves, and storm conditions.
Reports indicate that so far, more than 11 people have sustained injuries of varying severity due to the disaster. Currently, their lives and health are not in immediate danger. Experts believe that wave heights at sea could reach up to 14 meters.
