Russia Aims to Strengthen Ties with Armenia: Ovchuk
Russia aims to develop ties with Armenia and to practically address economic issues, emphasizing that these are not just beautiful words. This was announced by Alexey Ovchuk, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the 9th Interregional Russian-Armenian Conference, as reported by TASS.
“We have come here with such a representative delegation to highlight our historical closeness with Armenia and our desire to develop and strengthen the connections between our peoples and economies. The issue at hand is practical solutions to the economic challenges faced by Russia and Armenia. These are not just beautiful words, nor theories or promises, but real work for the benefit of the peoples of our countries,” stated the Russian deputy prime minister.
He added that both sides are consistently and continuously working “at all levels – in the regions of Russia and Armenia, in business and expert communities, and in state structures.”
