Military Solution to the Conflict Cannot Exist, Says Nancy Pelosi

“The United States, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, has clearly and long stated that a military solution to the conflict cannot exist. We continue to monitor events and strive for a negotiated and lasting peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated today at a press conference with Armenian National Assembly President Alen Simonian.

“The House of Representatives has already put forward a resolution condemning Azerbaijan's actions. I hope that we will move forward with this resolution. As for our commitment, we will continue to support Armenia's territorial integrity and oppose any changes to Armenia's borders,” said U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier in response to reporters' questions.
