Joe Biden is a Friend of Armenia: Pelosi

U.S. President Joe Biden, along with Congress, prioritizes the peaceful resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during a meeting at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts in Yerevan.

"The U.S., as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and a friend of Armenia, is committed to supporting a stable and peaceful resolution of the negotiation process. The U.S. has long noted that this conflict cannot have a military solution, and the ongoing military operations are continuously taking lives," Pelosi emphasized.

The House Speaker highlighted that her delegation arrived in Armenia to examine issues related to security, democracy, and the economy. Notably, Pelosi is on an official visit to Armenia, marking her first trip to the country. She is accompanied by Frank Pallone, Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, as well as Representatives Anna Eshoo and Jackie Speier.
