Azerbaijan's MFA Condemns Nancy Pelosi's Statements in Yerevan

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the statements made by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Yerevan.

“Pelosi’s baseless and unjust accusations against Azerbaijan are unacceptable,” stated Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that these remarks are a serious blow to the efforts aimed at normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“Such unilateral actions and unfounded statements serve not to strengthen the fragile peace in the region, but, on the contrary, to undermine it,” the statement from Azerbaijan’s MFA read.
