Armenia Holds Significant Importance for Us: Pelosi

Armenia holds significant importance for us. We strongly condemn Azerbaijan's deadly attacks and assaults on Armenian territory on behalf of Congress. The United States, as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, has clearly and long ago stated that the conflict cannot have a military solution.

This was stated earlier today by the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, during a press conference in the National Assembly.

It is worth noting that on September 18, the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, received a delegation headed by Nancy Pelosi, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit. The ceremonial reception was followed by a private meeting between Simonian and Pelosi.
