The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, has addressed the news of her upcoming visit to Armenia.

Earlier, Politico reported that Pelosi would visit Armenia amid renewed clashes with Azerbaijan. Pelosi's trip will take place with the accompaniment of Congresswoman Jackie Speier (California) following a stop in Berlin for a G-7 speakers summit.

According to the publication, she is expected to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as other government officials in Yerevan. The media emphasizes that this will be the speaker's final dramatic foreign trip following her controversial visit to Taiwan last month.
