Our Army Fought Heroically: Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in the National Assembly that our soldiers and our army have fought selflessly and heroically.
“Paying tribute to our fallen, I must emphasize that it is on such people that our statehood, our independence, and our sovereignty are based. As long as there are such individuals who are ready to put their lives at risk—up to sacrificing themselves for the homeland—this means that Armenia has and will have sovereignty, Armenian statehood will be eternal, and the Armenian people will be able to be proud of their children,” he said.
At this point, the intensity of combat operations has decreased, but attacks by Azerbaijan continue in one or two directions.
“The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are assessing the situation and the losses, and the verified information will be officially published,” the Prime Minister stated.
According to him, from the moment the news of the attacks became known, a meeting of the Security Council was called, and a decision was made to appeal to the CSTO, Russia, and the UN.
