Government Appeals to Russia, UN Security Council, and CSTO

The government of Armenia has already reached out to Russia, the UN Security Council, and the CSTO regarding aggression in relation to the territory of the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by Public Television.

It is worth reminding that earlier, a decision was made during a meeting of the Security Council to officially appeal to the Russian Federation in order to activate the provisions of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance, as well as to the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the UN Security Council concerning aggression on the sovereign territory of Armenia.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement indicating that starting from September 13 at 00:05, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have begun to intensively fire upon Armenian positions in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk using artillery and large-caliber firearms. There are casualties and injuries. The adversary is also utilizing UAVs.
