Azerbaijani State Media Hints at 'Special Operation' in Artsakh

'How can Azerbaijan rid itself of armed formations in Nagorno-Karabakh?' This is the headline of a publication from peace-supporting Azerbaijani state media, which lists at length what Armenia allegedly needs to do. The authors then pose a question to themselves: 'As a result, the question of what Azerbaijan should do in the current situation is becoming increasingly urgent. And most importantly, how much longer should Baku tolerate the presence of illegal armed groups and Armenian servicemen on its territory.'

Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, during a meeting with military command, instructed to strictly suppress any provocation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in areas controlled by Russian peacekeeping forces. This indicates that the Azerbaijani army is ready to carry out a special operation for the complete neutralization of illegal Armenian formations operating in Azerbaijan's sovereign territory. If Armenia continues to resort to a delay tactic and does not fulfill its obligations for disarmament and withdrawal from the territories under the control of the separatist regime in Khankendi, Azerbaijan has all the capabilities and necessary means to conduct a special operation in the shortest possible time.'

Such statements regarding actions seem at least strange, more likely a 'false flag' attempt aimed at intimidating the enemy.
