Enerhodar Continues to Receive Electricity After Shutdown of Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant

The city of Enerhodar is receiving electricity despite the shutdown of the last operational energy block of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. This was reported on September 11 by the head of Enerhodar's military-civilian administration, Alexander Volga.

According to him, local residents are receiving electricity in a normal regime. “The city is supplied with electricity. Partially, some areas are undergoing work on the connection of transformers, but this mainly concerns the industrial zone,” he was quoted as saying by Interfax.

The sixth energy block of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant was shut down on Sunday morning, September 11. In recent days, the only operating energy block of the station had been functioning at minimum capacity.
