Everyone Must Clarify Which Side of the Curtain They Want to Be On: Vucic
EU, Germany, and France representatives have demanded Serbia to choose which side they stand on regarding the situation with Russia. This was announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Vucic had a meeting yesterday with Miroslav Lajcak, the EU's special representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, and with advisors Emmanuel Bonne and Jens Pletner on foreign policy and security matters from France and Germany.
“As I was informed, now everyone must clarify which side of the curtain they want to remain on. Is it the side where the economy disappears and does not exist, or the side of success, where they themselves are?” stated the Serbian leader.
He noted that representatives of Western countries have urged him to resolve the Kosovo issue more quickly, which would provide them with additional arguments during the confrontation with Russia.
According to Vucic, Serbia is once again becoming a casualty of the crisis and the “accompanying loss of the inconsistency demonstrated by the global powers in the past.”
