Video: Fire at Ufa Shopping Center Evolved into Looting, Eyewitness Footage

The fire that broke out at the Ufa shopping center has culminated in acts of looting. This was reported by Readovka, noting that according to another version, "the vendors were attempting to save their goods." Eyewitnesses captured footage of individuals removing items from stores while firefighters were occupied with the blaze.

There are two versions of the events: one suggests that looters took advantage of the chaos to steal, while the other claims that vendors tried to salvage some of their products from the fire and smoke.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has classified the fire at the Merkurii shopping center as a third-degree incident. There is currently no information about casualties or the cause of the fire. The Ministry also reports that 78 personnel and 28 pieces of equipment were involved in the firefighting efforts.
