The Time Will Come: Avinyan on Being Appointed Deputy Mayor

Tigran Avinyan, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and a member of the "Civil Contract" party, addressed rumors regarding his appointment as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan during a conversation with reporters today. He stated that an official announcement will be made and that he would discuss this topic at a more opportune time.

“The time will come for that, and I believe we will manage to talk about it on a suitable occasion,” said Tigran Avinyan.

When asked whether he considers former mayor Hayk Marutyan, who is reportedly running in the upcoming mayoral elections, as an opponent, Avinyan replied, “I would prefer not to comment on anything related to the municipality until certain formal processes are completed.”
