Rudenko Discusses Possible Meeting Between Putin and Zelensky

The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not planned within the framework of the G20 in Bali, as there are no such plans, said Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko.

As already stated by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, there is still nothing to discuss. If Ukraine had responded differently on April 15 to the draft document presented to the Ukrainian delegation, which contained a key element—a possible agreement—the meeting might have made sense, but at this moment, such a thing simply does not exist, and we do not have corresponding plans,” Rudenko told reporters, as reported by RIA Novosti.

When asked if it can be said that no such meeting is being prepared at the moment, Rudenko responded: “Just write it this way.”
