King Charles III to be Officially Crowned King of the United Kingdom Tomorrow: Times

King Charles III will officially be crowned King of the United Kingdom on Saturday, according to the Times. Earlier, the newspaper reported that Charles would be proclaimed king on Friday.

"This is the day when Charles will officially become king," the Times stated.

The publication clarified that on Friday, the king and Queen Camilla will return to London from Balmoral Castle. It is expected that around noon, King Charles III will meet with newly elected Prime Minister Liz Truss.

On Thursday, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom passed away at the age of 96 in Scotland, having reigned on the British throne for over 70 years.
