We Will Not Be Part of Azerbaijan, Because That Is Death and Destruction Not Only for Artsakh but Also for Armenia – Babayan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, has articulated a clearly defined red line: Artsakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan.
“What do we need such a world for if there is no Artsakh in it? We have a clearly formulated red line that we constantly speak about. This red line is universal; it is not only about the government but also reflects the will of the entire society and all Armenians. This red line is as follows: Artsakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan; that is excluded.
If anyone claims tomorrow that you must be part of Azerbaijan, the outcome will be either war, massacre, or ethnic cleansing. For instance, it may happen that women and children evacuate while men fight to the death – this is also an option, but we will not be part of that country because it means death and destruction not only for Artsakh but also for Armenia,” Babayan stated on his Facebook page.
