Information regarding the death of Berdyansk’s mayor’s aide, who was injured in an assassination attempt, has not been confirmed. This was reported today, September 6, by Vladimir Rogov, the head of the public organization "We Are with Russia," according to Кп.
“Thank God, reports about the death of Berdyansk’s mayor’s aide Artem Bardin have not been confirmed. Despite having been severely injured, undergoing an amputation of his legs due to explosives, and losing a significant amount of blood, he is alive. Doctors continue to fight for his life,” Vladimir Rogov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Previously, several media outlets reported that the mayor’s aide had died from injuries sustained in the assassination attempt.
It is recalled that Artem Bardin's vehicle was blown up in the center of the city, near the military-civilian administration building, as reported by the municipality’s Telegram channel. Bardin was hospitalized in serious condition.
The Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, citing local authorities, clarified that the city commander's vehicle was blown up, after which gunfire ensued, and at least one person ended up in the hospital.
