The Fire That Broke Out in Ijevan Has Been Extinguished

On September 6, at 08:00, firefighting operations resumed. A total of 25 rescue workers and 1 drone are participating in the firefighting efforts. It has been determined that there are 2 smoldering hotspots, with approximately 13 hectares of forested area burning.

The fire was contained by 10:55 and extinguished by 16:13. Approximately 13 hectares of forested area have burned.

It is worth reminding that on August 31, at 13:25, the Tavush regional crisis management center received a call reporting that grass cover was burning near the wine factory in Ijevan. Three fire brigade units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was found that about 5-6 hectares of grass cover were on fire. Out of the fire's four directions, three were extinguished, and in the fourth direction, there were three smoldering hotspots, where duty was established by 13 firefighters.
