Over 1 Million 30 Thousand Tourists Arrived in Armenia Since the Beginning of the Year

In August 2022, tourist visits to Armenia reached 261,834. This was reported by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia, citing data obtained through the Border Electronic Information System (BEIS).

It was noted that from January to August, about 1 million 30 thousand tourists arrived in Armenia. During the same period, the top five countries contributing to the increase in tourist visits to Armenia were Russia (approximately 45%), Georgia (9%), Iran (7%), the USA (3%), and Germany (1%).
