IAEA Sees No Reason to Withdraw from Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Grossi

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) sees no reason to terminate the permanent presence of experts at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Otherwise, explanations must be provided for why the experts should leave the facility. This was stated by Rafael Grossi, the head of the IAEA, during an interview on CNN, as reported by Говорит Москва.

“We are staying there. If someone wants us to leave, they need to explain why the IAEA should withdraw. I thank Ukraine for its cooperation,” Grossi stated. He also expressed gratitude to the Russian side for working with the mission to facilitate the visit to the nuclear plant.
