Former Erebuni District Head and Family Members Summoned to Prosecutor's Office
The former head of the Erebuni district, Armen Harutyunyan, has been summoned to the Prosecutor's Office as part of a proceeding concerning the confiscation of property of illicit origin. This was reported in a notice published on the azdarar.am website, which includes official announcements.
It is noted that his family members, including his wife, son, and father, have also been invited to the Prosecutor's Office regarding the properties owned by him. Harutyunyan has one month from the receipt of the notification to appear before the Property Recovery Department of the RA Prosecutor's Office dealing with assets of illicit origin, to familiarize himself with the investigation materials, present his position, and submit a declaration.
It is worth mentioning that Armen Harutyunyan led the Erebuni community from 2009 to 2017, succeeding former MP Mher Sedrakyan from the Republican Party. According to media reports, Harutyunyan is the brother-in-law of Sedrakyan.
