Turkish-Azerbaijani Flight Exercises Begin
Today, the Turkish-Azerbaijani joint tactical flight exercises, "TurAz Kartali-2022," have started in Ganja, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
Recently, a group of pilots and technical personnel from the Turkish Air Force traveled to Azerbaijan for this purpose. During the opening ceremony of the "TurAz Kartali-2022" exercises in Ganja, Major General Zaour Rustamov of the Azerbaijani Air Forces emphasized that conducting such exercises is of significant importance for planning joint operations, enhancing cooperation among soldiers during combat operations, as well as performing search and rescue missions.
Information about the goal of the exercises has been provided, which includes combat readiness of personnel, deployment, task execution, and aviation use. However, details regarding the types and numbers of military personnel, equipment, and aircraft involved in the exercises have not been disclosed.
