Stabbing and Hit-and-Run: Details of Incident Between Brothers from Vedi and Goravan

On September 4, at around 16:50, the police operational management center received a report that a dispute had ended in stabbing in one of the outskirts of the village of Lanjanist, Ararat province.

According to the police, an operational group from the Ararat division was dispatched to the scene. It was found that there had been a fight between two brothers from the city of Vedi and two brothers from the village of Goravan, during which a 32-year-old man from Goravan stabbed two residents of Vedi.

At 19:25, the hospital reported that four men had been admitted for medical assistance, two of whom were from Vedi and two were from Goravan.

The police clarified that on September 4, at around 18:35, in the administrative territory of Urtsadzor village, on Khosrov highway, a 39-year-old resident of Vedi had struck a 32-year-old resident of Goravan with a "VAZ-2107" car, and the friend of the resident from Vedi had assaulted the brother of the injured man.

A criminal investigation has been initiated.
