ISIS Claims Responsibility for Explosion Near Russian Embassy in Afghanistan

The Islamic State terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack near the Russian embassy in Kabul. This was reported by Reuters.

It is important to note that today's explosion in Kabul resulted in the deaths of two embassy staff members and several Afghan citizens.

Kabul police representative Khalid Zadran stated that the suicide bomber planned the explosion in a crowd, but was unable to carry it out as security forces opened fire on him.
