VIDEO: What is Burning on the Roof of a Building in Abovyan? Details from the Ministry of Emergency Situations

As previously reported, a fire broke out in one of the buildings located at 4 Rosia Street in the city of Abovyan. Auroranews.am has contacted the spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan.

In response to the question of whether the fire has reached the apartments or if there is a risk of spreading, he stated:  "The fire is confined only to the roof area, covering approximately 100 square meters. The bitumen coverings and isolations have burned. The fire has already been contained, and only firefighting operations are underway. There is no issue with the fire spreading," said the spokesperson.

The spokesperson also mentioned that there is no need to evacuate people.
