Five Tourists Die While Climbing Klyuchevskoy Volcano

In Kamchatka, five tourists have died while climbing Klyuchevskoy Volcano, reported Roman Vasilievskiy, the deputy head of the regional government, to RIA Novosti.

"The information is preliminary and very uncertain, as the communication keeps breaking up. I was told that five people have died, and one has been injured," he said.

Earlier, a representative from the emergency services informed RIA Novosti that out of a group of 12 tourists who ascended, four had died. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
