Attention: The Air Temperature Will Rise

Due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from the regions of Iraq, the temperature across the republic is expected to rise by an additional 2-4 degrees from today between September 1-3.

In the Ararat Plain, the pre-mountainous areas of Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor, and in Yerevan, daytime temperatures will reach +38 to +40 degrees Celsius from September 1-3.

Given the high thermal background and the absence of precipitation, a high fire hazard situation is anticipated in the pre-mountainous and valley regions of the republic.

Weather conditions for September 1-3 are expected to be dry without precipitation across the territory of the republic, and winds will blow from the southwest at 2-5 m/s.

Weather in the regions of Armenia and Artsakh: No precipitation is expected from August 30-31 and September 1-3.
