Air France Pilots Involved in Mid-Flight Brawl
Two Air France pilots have been temporarily suspended following a physical altercation in the cockpit during a flight. According to La Tribune, the fight erupted shortly after takeoff on a flight from Geneva to Paris when one pilot refused to follow orders.
Flight attendants reported hearing a commotion in the cockpit and intervened to separate the two pilots. One crew member was compelled to spend the remainder of the flight seated behind the disgruntled pilots to prevent further conflict.
The airline has confirmed that a "disagreement" occurred aboard an Airbus A320 in June, but news of the incident only surfaced recently. Air France also indicated that the altercation was resolved quickly, without affecting the conduct or safety of the flight, which continued normally.
