Haik Marutyan Will Use Pashinyan's Voice Messages in His Solo Performance
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "The former mayor of Yerevan and comic actor Haik Marutyan is set to perform a new show for the audience soon. Earlier, information was circulated in the media that Nikol Pashinyan's former beloved was preparing to present a monologue (Stand Up)."
According to "Zhoghovurd," during the performance, Marutyan will utilize voice messages sent to him by Nikol Pashinyan and other members of the governmental cabinet. "These messages include instances where directives or decisions are communicated to Marutyan from the cabinet on how to tackle various issues or what speeches to make. These will be played in the hall," our source stated.
We, of course, attempted to gather Marutyan's views, but his office phone was unreachable, and we did not receive a response to our inquiry for information.
"Zhoghovurd" has learned that whispers of Marutyan's intention to expose government officials with these voice messages have reached the members of the ruling party, after which they have been sending signals to silence the former mayor. It is no coincidence that the State Control Service recently made "noisy" revelations regarding the municipality. This concerns the period since Marutyan's management began in 2018. According to these findings, violations amounting to 8.5 billion were uncovered in the municipality, and the capital lost more than 6 billion drams in additional revenue.
With a year remaining until the elections, the ruling party has begun to strike blows at the former beloved "super mayor," under whose management there has been no significant positive movement in the capital or any sector. It is possible that at the last moment, he may choose not to use those voice messages, considering the tightening circle around him.
