Attention: High Fire Hazard Situation Expected. Weather Forecast

The weather forecast for the Republic of Armenia from August 25-29 indicates a dry period without precipitation. This information is provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The wind is expected to be from the northeast at 2-5 m/s. This evening, winds are expected to intensify in the regions of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in Ararat, with speeds of 12-15 m/s.

From August 26-28, air temperatures will gradually rise by 4-5 degrees.

“Due to high thermal backgrounds and the absence of precipitation, a high fire hazard situation is expected in the foothill and valley areas of the republic,” alert the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In Yerevan, the weather from August 25-29 is also expected to be dry, with winds anticipated to strengthen this evening to 11-13 m/s.
