We Are Firmly Committed to Supporting Ukraine: State Department Representative

The United States is ready to provide Ukraine with everything necessary to continue its defense. This statement was made by Ned Price, a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.

“We are firmly committed to supporting Ukraine and to doing everything necessary for as long as required to ensure that they have everything needed for defense,” he stated in an interview with CNN.

Price also noted that considering the latest aid package allocated for Kyiv, the total amount spent by Washington on military assistance to Ukraine has reached $13 billion.

U.S. President Joe Biden announced today that Ukraine has been granted the largest military assistance package of nearly $3 billion.

It is important to remember that early in the morning on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that he had decided to conduct a special military operation against Ukraine at the request of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic and Donetsk People's Republic.
