European Court of Human Rights Rejects Azerbaijan's Request Against Armenia
On August 18, Azerbaijan filed a request with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), asking it to impose immediate and unconditional obligations on Armenia to halt the destruction of property in the city of Berdzor and nearby villages under its control, including the burning of houses, and to provide information about the measures taken.
The Office of the Representative of Armenia on International Legal Issues reports that on August 22, the ECHR rejected Azerbaijan's request, stating that there was no need for new interim measures.
