A Children's Development Center to Be Built in Varanda by Order of the President of Kazakhstan
By the order of the President of Kazakhstan, a Creative Development Center named after Kurmangazy will be constructed in the city of Varanda, which came under Azerbaijani control as a result of the 44-day war. This information was provided by the press service of the Kazakh President.
The President of Kazakhstan stated that the center will be a gift from the Kazakh people to the Azerbaijani people, symbolizing the friendship, brotherhood, and mutual support between the countries.
The two-story building, with a total area of 3100 sqm, is planned to accommodate 600 students. Construction of the center is set to commence in September of this year and is expected to be completed by December 2023.
It is important to remind that on November 9, 2020, the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan reached an agreement on the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, and a declaration was signed by which seven regions of Artsakh, as well as Shushi and Hadrut, along with villages from the Askeran and Martuni regions, and the villages of Talish and Mataghis in the Martakert region, were transferred to Azerbaijan.
