Some Armenians in the Diaspora are too noisy: Turkish Minister's latest statement
In an interview with Haber Global, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that Armenia must declare whether it wants peace in the region or not.
The Turkish minister remarked that the occupied territories are Azerbaijani lands, yet Armenia sometimes behaves as if its own lands are occupied.
“Upon leaving Lachin and other settlements, Armenians are burning houses, forests, and turning mosques into stables.
Armenia should learn its lessons. Turkey and Azerbaijan are committed to peace. Azerbaijan is telling the Armenians in Karabakh to take up the country’s citizenship—what more should Azerbaijan do? Armenians shouldn’t rely on anyone there; they supported Pashinyan in Armenia. Some Armenians in the Diaspora are too noisy, but they are few. We shouldn't depend on them; Pashinyan has a strong support base. The South Caucasus needs peace, which will benefit everyone, especially Armenia,” he noted, as reported by Russian Telegram channels.
