Classified Documents Package: 300 Secret Files Held by Trump
The former President of the United States, Donald Trump, has kept at least 300 classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Among the classified materials are documents from the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
As reported by The New York Times, Trump transferred nearly 150 classified documents to the National Archives and Records Administration in January. His representatives handed over the remaining classified documents to the U.S. Department of Justice in June, while some were seized during a search of Mar-a-Lago in early August.
It is noted that White House representatives currently possess 26 boxes of materials that Trump kept with him, including one package labeled as “top secret.”
