Ukraine Reports Its Casualties

Ukraine has reported that 9,000 soldiers have died since the beginning of the war against it in February, as stated today by the country's Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

“Not only our soldiers are fighting against the Russian assault, but also numerous volunteers,” Zaluzhnyi said.

Reports indicate that last night the Russian army again shelled Ukrainian settlements, including Odesa. President Zelensky warned that Moscow could deliver a much more serious blow on August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day.

Meanwhile, the country's naval forces claim that the Russian army has increased its military presence in the Black Sea, where five Russian warships armed with cruise missiles are currently on combat duty.
