Passenger Conceals Human Organ in Luggage at U.S. Airport

Staff at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport discovered a human umbilical cord hidden in a passenger's luggage. This was reported by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as noted by dip.org.ua.

A man flying with Spirit Airlines from Honduras concealed the organ in his suitcase, but was caught during a bag inspection.

The traveler explained that the umbilical cord belonged to a relative. However, the package containing the cord was confiscated by customs for further destruction.

According to reports, this is not the first incident of finding human umbilical cords among passengers in New Orleans. Another case occurred in June on a flight from Honduras.
