Lavrov Declares Russia's Position on Kosovo Issue

The escalation in Kosovo must be resolved with respect to Belgrade's legitimate interests. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“As for Kosovo, Russia's position remains unchanged. Of course, it must primarily comply with international law and must have the approval of the UN Security Council. We will provide our Serbian friends with comprehensive support in achieving these outcomes,” said the minister.
